After I looked inside her mouth, I'm amazed she will even try to eat....except that she's probably starving. Her "last supper" was over a day ago.
I will be a happy Mama when no more wires are plugged and I can easily hold my baby!!

I have not checked your blog in several days. I was shocked to see what you have all gone through since last I checked. We will continue to pray for Ruth and God's healing hand on her ears, mouth and your nerves and heart. Seeing your child like that and knowing it is the best thing for them but not being able to do much to comfort them is a terrible feeling. This is all temporary thanks to God and the knowledge he has given the surgeons and for him placing Ruth in your lives. I truly believe that you guys were always meant to be together and nothing will ever change that. Praise him for all he has done and all he will continue to do in your lives!
