Medical exam... Check!

Whew! We made it through the medical exam. The worst part was 4 shots and TB test. I now can say I have a STRONG child. She almost jerked the needle away from the nurse and gave the nurse a shot. They were shocked by Ruth's strength.
The rest of the exam was basic stuff to simply document her size, hearing, surgeries, scars, etc. We asked the ENT doctor about her cleft palate. Her response, "looks like she had some surgeries but not a good one". Wow, even I can tell her mouth is different than mine. Hee hee
Anyway, after shots we had to wait for 20 min near the clinic to be sure no allergic reactions. That gave us a few minutes to look inside a children's store. Well, that is when Ruth picked out the shoes and insisted to put them on. Daddy never said No. He then picked out a traditional Chinese outfit for her to wear on our visit to the orphanage tomorrow. (I know you can't wait for that pic)
We also went today and applied for her Chinese passport. When we got her passport picture taken she was asleep and had to be awoke. Then when we got to apply for her passport, they take a picture of parents and child and .... She was asleep then too. So once again we had to wake her up.
She' happy now that we just returned to hotel. We are heading to the pool where I think we can find Meme, Chloe and Timon.
Then the decision about dinner-- we have only eaten at McD's once so far, but tonite may be twice.
Oh, we got to speak to many of our extended family members this morning via Skype. It was so much fun!!
I'm trying to update blog earlier tonite in case I can't later (like last night). We had some trouble getting her to sleep.
Time to change a dirty diaper. I must run. (Keep lifting up that we can keep her hydrated. I get very Few wet diapers. The bottle has helped. )
We love ya'll
